SEVEN

Well, another year has come and gone and our baby boy has turned 7. We have celebrated it for the past couple of days because of some overlapping schedules. So he has had an ongoing party this year. We'll finally have his cake and ice cream tonight and call it good for another year.
He has been asking for a bike for quite a while so Susan and Meryn ran and picked him up one yesterday. They brought it to the station so I could see him get it. He was so excited when he saw it. He rode and rode and didn't want to quit. Fortunately, it doesn't take much to thrill our kids.

GREAT WOLF LODGE

Well we had a great time on our little mini vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City. It was 20 kids 12 parents and 2 grandparents. We had so much fun! There was the indoor water park which had something for everyone.

Visiting Grandpa & Grandma Tucker

We stopped in to surprise Grandpa and Grandma Tucker on our way to Kansas City. It was a quick visit but it sure was good to see them!

B-17

We had a B-17 in town for a couple of days this week, so we all went down to check out a piece of history. We had seen it flying around a couple times and from the ground it looked pretty big, but when we got up close, it was kind of surprising that it really wasn't that huge. The kids were pretty impressed with all the guns protruding from all around. The ball turret would not be my first choice of seating.

Soccer Season

It's here again, Fall soccer! This has already been an exciting season. Trevin finally has started to understand the game, and is a lot more aggressive. He is so much fun to watch. Brendon and Caleb are also playing and this year there are no girls on the team. So that makes it a little more exciting because the boys are a lot more aggressive and fight for the ball. They are also playing with 3rd and 4th grade mixed, so some more experienced and bigger kids for them to challenge. So far they are all doing excellent. I get pretty wound up and excited when they are playing.
