We had a B-17 in town for a couple of days this week, so we all went down to check out a piece of history. We had seen it flying around a couple times and from the ground it looked pretty big, but when we got up close, it was kind of surprising that it really wasn't that huge. The kids were pretty impressed with all the guns protruding from all around. The ball turret would not be my first choice of seating.

Soccer Season
It's here again, Fall soccer! This has already been an exciting season. Trevin finally has started to understand the game, and is a lot more aggressive. He is so much fun to watch. Brendon and Caleb are also playing and this year there are no girls on the team. So that makes it a little more exciting because the boys are a lot more aggressive and fight for the ball. They are also playing with 3rd and 4th grade mixed, so some more experienced and bigger kids for them to challenge. So far they are all doing excellent. I get pretty wound up and excited when they are playing.

ART
Tired Girl
Last night we went to the fair again and when we got home Meryn was NOT going to bed she told us. So we tucked the boys in and told her she could just stay up all night and play. She thought that was a great idea and Greg and I went out of her room. I peeked back in a couple minutes later and found her like this.

Fair Time
The boys were out of school yesterday, so we took them to the fair for a day full of rides. We got them arm bands so they could ride all day long. It WAS a long day. They rode on rides from 11 am until about 9 pm with a few short breaks. I only had my camera part of the time so I didn't get pictures of some of the scary rides they went on. They are all brave boys. Trevin would have loved to go on some more of the scary ones but was about an inch too short. We had a fun day!

Meryn turned 3 on Friday. It's so hard to believe our baby is growing up. She loved all of her presents and her cake.

Toothless Trevin
Last night, Trevin came to me after bugging me all day about his loose tooth and asked me for the one zillionth time if it was ready to come out. I felt it and sure enough, it was. So we got out the trusty dental floss, tied it around his tooth and on the count of 12, it was no longer there. He was so excited. He ran to the bathroom to rinse out his mouth, get a drink and check it out in the mirror. It was a little sad to see it go. He had such cute little baby teeth. He sure is growing up!
