Well the watermelons have arrived. The kids have been growing them for several months and now we have a bunch of melons ready to go. They sold their first 8 a couple of nights ago and came home with $21.50. So that got them really excited. We went back over today and picked about 16 more. None sold because a storm came in and we didn't have any signs up, but we'll be ready before long and won't be able to keep them supplied. We're going to look into the Farmers Market and probably sell there too. They're having a blast with it and love seeing the money come in.

Those watermelons look delicious...better than any I've seen this summer! If we lived anywhere near Hutch we would definitely give you LOTS of business! You should keep at least one and make watermelon limeade cream slushes with it. Check out my blog for the recipe!
